Domain Transfer

You can transfer your domain to Hostporium and take advantage of our low domain pricing. Please submit your transfer requests at least two weeks prior to the expiration date. We are not responsible for domains that expire prior to a successful transfer. You do not lose any time, nor pay for overlapping months; a transfer adds a full year to the current expiration date. Once we have received your transfer request, an email is sent to the administrative contact of the domain (on file with the current registrar) to authorize the transfer request.

Just as there are many factors to consider in choosing the name of a person or business, there are many implications of choosing a domain name. Most Internet users remember websites by their domain names; and your domain name can also affect your ranking in search engines. Technically, you can have one with up to 67 characters. You can use hyphenated names, but not recommended. Legally, think seriously about the legal implications of the words you use. Avoid trademarked names. Keep it simple. The shorter the better.
